New Resource: SPENDING TRADE-OFFS: Oakland Social Service Investments and Police Costs

Check it out: a binder with information about how Oakland city government chooses to spend our money. We’ve focused on how money gets spent on social services, violence prevention services, OUSD and OPD, plus the money that Oakland has to pay for OPD officer-related shootings. This is by no means a comprehensive report, but it is a compilation of info to get us thinking together about how we need to INVEST IN REAL SOLUTIONS TO VIOLENCE.
